Welcome to The EN/CORE Journey Session 2 - an opportunity to explore Scripture, Beliefs, and Practices that form the core of the Christian faith in the community of relationship at EagleNaz!

This week we begin exploring our foundational beliefs about God as Father, Creator, and Author of New Creation drawing from Scripture and the Apostle's Creed.

These next two weeks we will walk through deep water in thinking about our faith in Jesus Christ. This is holy ground, because our relationship with Jesus is really the very core of our faith.

This is the second of two weeks in thinking deeply about our beliefs in Jesus Christ, the very core of our Christian faith.

On the Christian calendar this begins the “countdown” to Holy Week, Good Friday, and Easter. From that day, it is 40 “regular” days and 7 Sundays until Resurrection Sunday.

We continue the second part of the Apostle’s Creed, our core beliefs about Jesus Christ. We’ve discussed Jesus as Our Lord, and now consider his life and death, called His Incarnation and Atonement.

As the Gospel spread from Ancient Israel to the cities of the Roman Empire, questions about Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection developed among those who had not seen or heard Jesus in person. How does the Creed address these issues?

The second part of the Apostle’s Creed summarizes core beliefs about Jesus Christ. Let’s explore these intriguing phrases!

The third and final section of the Apostle’s Creed addresses foundational beliefs about the person and work of the Holy Spirit, and how the Spirit operates in us, in the world, and in the Church.

Palm Sunday begins Holy Week, an opportunity for us to remember the last week of Jesus’ earthly ministry that led to His crucifixion and Resurrection. The incredible events that took place in Jerusalem that week changed the course of history, and our destiny, forever!
